After getting the brief, we hop into some rudimentary steps like researching, brainstorming, loads of discussion, etc. In the research phase, we gather all the related data and by intense brainstorming, we finalize the attributes on which we are going to work.
It helps us to bridge the gap between our thoughts and upcoming visuals. Getting inspiration from this collage of pictures named as moodboard is the main goal. Before starting the design phase it helps us to get on the same page.
After curating all the data and inspirations we need to impose those on paper. To do that there is no other alternative other than sketching. We sketch as much as we can to gather a repository of ideas on paper. Then we select the best ones to go with.
After selecting the mark we put it on a digital medium where we carefully decide the best color and typography to go with. There has to be a robust logic behind each decision & we follow it through.
The last phase is to make related mockups where we show how the logo will perform in the real world. It feels good when the hard work reflects on the mockups.
